I see all sorts of traditions since I attend so many weddings, and it’s one of the best parts of my job… the fact that each wedding is a bit different. I don’t know if it’s common (I hadn’t seen it before), but I LOVED that Tracy had all of her girls (& mom) sign the bottom of her shoes. They were well wishes that she could have with her all day!
Of course, that wasn’t the only part of the day that was fantastic. The speeches given at the reception were amazing and tear-inducing. The fact that Tracy and Patrick and the wedding party braved 10 degree weather for photos as the sun was setting was awe-inspiring (ironically, I think that might have been one of the coldest days all winter… figures, right?). And, of course, we couldn’t forget the late night McDonald’s cheeseburgers!
It was an all-around wonderful day. Full of smiles, wonderful people, and beautiful decorations! Congrats, Tracy and Patrick!
