Jennie & Joe’s wedding took place on July 4th. Both church workers, Jennie and Joe kept it simple with a beautiful ceremony, then comfy clothes for all during the reception. They embraced the spirit of the day and had a picnic-type reception in a park, with some picnic-y type food (chicken, corn, etc). There were even frisbees and bubbles provided for the kids to play with. My favorite thing? All of the homemade DIY touches – flower center pieces complete with the flower meanings listed, and how they related to love and marriage, and even homemade cookies as favors!

(It was a beautiful church, very old and elegant)

(Handmade place cards for the head table)

(Homemade cookies to match the picnic theme!)

(The kids loved the toys that were set out for them)

(It was a rainy day, but that’s okay – just more good luck!)

Beautiful photographs! The one showing of the wood interior of the church is my favorite. Great work.
Bubbles FTW!
Thanks Trudy! The church was so beautiful, I had to get a few good shots of it
Andy – The bubbles are my favorite too, haha.
Oh, loveliness!!
