Part of the point of Casual Friday is to show my readers some of the things I love.

Well, meet my cat, Zoe. I love her. I got her from the Anti-Cruelty Society right after I graduated college five years ago. In those five years, we’ve learned that some of Zoe’s favorite things include balls made out of tin foil, chili, any house plant that I don’t want her to eat, cheese, milk, ice cream, tuna, tacos, pizza, basically anything that we’re eating, taking over half the bed at night, and putting her toys in her water bowl when she’s done playing with them.

If you’re a client of mine, you should love her too, because chances are that Zoe will help process your images, or at least supervise the editing process. She likes to either sit on me or right next to me when I edit pictures… whichever one is the most inconvenient for me at the moment usually.

Zoe is also my test subject when I get new gear. These pictures were taken right after I opened the box of my 35mm f/1.4 lens. She obliged me by rolling all over the kitchen floor.
