Just one for today, but I love it.

Why do I love it? First of all, it was taken in a small music club in Chicago, minutes before a show. There are few places I like better than my hole-in-the-wall Chicago clubs (I love them so much, Spin.com even publishes my photos of them!). Second, I adore window light. I like several types of light such as fall light, golden light, blue light, etc., but window light is definitely up there on my “favorite types of light” list (is it odd to have a list of favorite light types?). And lastly, I love the color of the paint and dark wood… it almost matches the color and wood tone of my favorite room in my house.

So, in short, that’s why this photo gets to stand alone for Casual Friday. I love it just that much.
