This post is filled with happy accident images. As I mentioned in my last post that featured film, I don’t get to shoot film as often as I would like, and thus, I tend to forget what type of film I have in my camera. I could have sworn had I color film in my Canon TX when I decided to take it with me to Maryland. We planned on going into Baltimore and downtown Frederick – both of which have some great colors, so I was excited . I shot practically the whole roll there, really focusing on vibrant colors… and then I finished the roll… and when I opened up the back of the camera, I noticed it was B&W T-Max.
Whoops.
However, I really like the way some of these turned out in black and white, especially the lead image. I didn’t get as many “keepers” as I would have had if I had known that I was shooting black and white (personally, I shoot differently when the intended outcome is black and white – I focus more on highlights and shadows), but that’s okay – instead, I got something unexpected!
