Hi, Tasha! Great post; thanks for asking us for suggestions! I would personally love to know how you began building up a steady client base, especially before you had a big portfolio. Did you rely on personal recommendations? What marketing tools did you use? What do you think made you stand out from other photographers?

I know how WE (Dan and I) found (and loved!) your work, but I’m curious to know if that was an anomaly or a part of your regular business strategy.

How do you what to take pictures of? Do you set out with a plan of how close or far away you want to be, or do you shoot with reckless abandon?

Hey Tasha,

I’m interested in your Library/Catalog management tips & tricks in Lightroom. Do you have one catalog for everything? Do you hang on to your RAWs forever and ever, or just JPGs? How do you manage such a large library of images?

Hey Tasha!

Hmmm.. I’m trying to think. How about processing, start to finish? So you’ve taken some sick photos – how about you walk through post-production, export, proofing, and shipping to the clients… all the way to their smiling faces?

I’m still learning how I want to print and deliver photos. Do you know much about archiving and photoshelter? Todd has it setup on his site now so you can buy any print or download. Does that mean he has to print and ship everything? Seems like it’d get confusing…
