A long while ago, I posted about my wonderful DianaF+ and showed a few pictures from my first roll, which was a black and white roll. I finally ran a color roll through it, and I must say, I love what the Diana does to color film. Of course, I also had a better idea of what I was doing this time around (the Diana definitely has a bit of a learning curve) so the pictures came out a bit better framed than the first time. I used Kodak Portra film for these, and I just love the colors I got, especially from the ferris wheel and the blue sky (second photo down). And the vignetting and distortion on the sides… love it. It’s like bad photoshop… but real!
I think I need to use my Diana more.

I love these! They look like they could each be their own little story. It’s so neat how you’re able to make the commonplace look completely surreal with the Diana–and your own rockin’ skills, of course.
Yeah… I used a roll of Portra in my Holga… LOVE that film!
Thao – Thanks
I owe you big time for this! I’m definitely bringing it for your wedding.
Mike – I didn’t know you had a Holga…. did I? Share some shots from it!
Love it! I love knowing your artists eye saw this and caught it. I can imagine you walking around and seeing this and just knowing what a great image this would be. Hope you will share more Diana’s soon
