Billy and Michelle are just… fun and original. For our last meeting before their wedding, we sat in their (new!) house and ate chocolate chip cookies, and mostly talked about everything other than their wedding for two hours. We probably would have stayed longer because we really could have talked all night, but I sadly had to leave to shoot a concert.
Their wedding was just like them… fun, and lively, and full of personality. The girls got ready at Billy and Michelle’s house, music blaring, mimosas flowing, Michelle put her dress on at her childhood home, and when I caught up with Billy just after that, he was all smiles. Really, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an excited groom. The ceremony was beautiful, with tears aplenty… and after that, we headed over to the basketball court, where Michelle spent many hours of her life. The reception was at the amazing Wilder Mansion and while it was a somewhat intimate crowd, it was crazy. Michelle and Billy’s friends know how to party. For real.
In fact, it was so much fun that this is a really long blog post. I just really liked a lot of the pictures. Sorry.
PS. Michelle and Billy asked me to shoot some film and while I didn’t get the chance to shoot nearly as much as I would have liked, I did shoot a bit. You can tell which shots are film I’m sure.
PPS. If you’re planning a wedding, I highly recommend the vendors below…. there were some really fantastic people helping out with this wedding!

(Billy designed the invites… aren’t they fabulous?)
