As you can tell from my crazy blog, I take pictures of everything. I’ve tried, but I’m not one of those photographers that only specializes in one thing. I absolutely, positively HATE being bored, so it’s no surprise that I like to challenge myself with several different types of photography. I definitely have my favorite subjects – weddings, engagements, and music, to be exact – but I find pretty much everything interesting to photograph. I’m sure this is much to my husband’s chagrin, as we can’t even take a walk without me stopping every ten feet to take a photo of something (“Oh! Look at that leaf!” *click* “A bug!” *click* “Ohh, pretty flower!” *click*).
Anyway, to the point of the post… another type of photography that I am loving more and more is boudoir photography. I like to think of it as the modern version of pin-up, and what girl doesn’t want to get all dolled-up and sexy for a few hours? I recently realized that I haven’t posted any boudoir sessions on my blog, so I wanted to post just a few work-safe-ish shots from my last session with the incredible Char. We ended up shooting after the sun set, so I went for a more dramatic, dark, film noir-esque look than normal… and I just love the result.
If you have an interest in a boudoir session, please let me know…I’m thinking about doing a boudoir marathon in the next few months, and want to gauge interest. Otherwise, just enjoy the photos!
