    Engagement :: Krystle & Eric

    These two couldn’t be cuter. I spent forever trying to narrow down which pictures to post, because I think they’re all so adorable.

    Krystle, Eric, my husband/assistant Aaron, and I had lots of fun walking around St. Charles, climbing on things in St. Charles (my crowning glory was balancing on a trash can… they managed to scale a building to get onto a ledge) and laying on the slightly soggy ground in St. Charles. Through it all, they managed to look fantastic… me, I was a bit of a mess. But that’s okay.

    And you know what? Krystle and Eric are getting married in just a few weeks… I have a feeling this is going to be a wedding where I tear up a bit.

    Sneak Peek :: Mark & Lea

    Engagement :: Mark & Lea

    I’ve had a non-stop marathon of engagement sessions this past week or two, and Mark & Lea were the last for a while, and what a fun shoot to end on!

    I loved that the spot that they chose (around museum campus) to start is a favorite spot of Mark’s that he passes when he bikes. I also love how much they made each other laugh. So much fun!

    Sneak Peek :: Whitney & Mike

    Engagement :: Whitney & Mike

    I won’t lie…. I’ve been very excited about this shoot for a while. Whitney & Mike are not only a ton of fun and super sweet, but their style is along the same lines as mine (I mean, they found my card at an antique store, how cool is that?). I love the spot we shot in, and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to take advantage of all the hidden gems the area offered.

    I really wanted to include about 50 pictures, but that’s not really a sneak peek. I’m a tease, so here’s four.

    Sneak Peek :: Anny & Alex

    All these sneak peeks and no full sessions! I’ve been shooting up a storm lately, but the full sessions are going to be blogged soon, I promise!

    Back to the photos at hand…

    This was actually our third try at these photos… it kept raining on the other dates we had scheduled. Third time was a charm though, and we had perfect weather today. I love everything about this shoot… the great locations, the adorable Paris & London (the dogs), and Anny and Alex. Can’t wait to show the rest of them!

    Sneak Peek :: Liz & Adam

    Engagement :: Liz & Adam

    I met with Liz & Adam tonight to do some engagement photos and one of the first things they mentioned is that they brought along some props. When I asked what they brought, they went through the list… chair… helmet… WWII bomb…

    Wait, what?

    They weren’t kidding. See the lead image.

    If you can’t tell from that story, they are very cool people. I can’t wait until their wedding!  Anyway, here are just a few from tonight… many  more to come!
